I was really looking forward to seeing Gez & Ian again. I hadn’t seen Gez for well over a year, where she had asked me to photograph some flower displays that she had created for a client’s wedding at the beautiful Gate Street Barn in Guildford, Surrey. The year before that, I had the pleasure of photographing their own wedding.
They are an awesome couple, so chilled and laid back. Ian is a very talented musician/bass player who is currently playing on the show Shrek, in London’s West End.
For their “bump shoot”, I wanted to do a mixture of ‘studio looking’ and ‘lifestyle’ images. So we started the session at their flat and then moved on to a great woodland location I had previously come across. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived at the woodland, the heavens had opened! …So with brollies in hand we made the best of a damp situation and got some cool fun pics.
Gez & Ian, I can’t wait to meet your new arrival…I am so excited and pleased for you both!
